Mr. Jason is the brand creative director of SWOFCARE.
Jason CHANG Ming was born in Beijing and studied in New Zealand in 1999. He graduated from Cambridge High School and Auckland University of Technology. Jason, who studied art in college, had an impressive interaction with university professor Miranda about "the story of the red hat" in class, so he completed his graduation thesis "Headwear Global Report" independently. Through the creation of his graduation thesis and a lot of research, Jason found that he had developed a strong interest in hat design and fashion trends. He hoped to provide customers all over the world with distinctive hat products. After graduation, Jason decided to go to New York to study hat design. One year later, Jason decided to go to Europe with a long history of hat culture to learn more about fashion. He further studied the operation and management of luxury goods systematically, focusing on hat design and fashion trends. Jason was back to New Zealand in 2008 and founded SWOFCARE brand in Auckland. In the same year, SWOFCARE studio was founded in 205 Hobson Street, Auckland. A few years later, SWOFCARE has won the acceptance of Australia market. In 2014, SWOFCARE has entered Japanese market and gained more international market experience in Tokyo and Osaka. SWOFCARE formally entered China in 2015 and set up the world's second products research and development center, that located at 22 guanghua Road, Beijing.

BRAND FOUNDED IN 2008 SWOFCARE originated in Hamilton, New Zealand, and named in 2005 by Chinese international students, Jason CHANG. He want to assimilate the most indispensable elements into artistic creation, linked S-Sunshine, W-Water, O-Oxygen, F-Future and Care together. Concise and far-reaching characters become the soul of the brand. To give each cap energy and soul, and wake up everyone’s care on society and self, it is just the original intention of the founder.
In 2008, SWOFCARE was formally established in Auckland, New Zealand. After more than 10 years of exploration and attempt, SWOFCARE represents not only the high quality baseball cap brand in the world, but also opening a combination of fashion and quality life. SWOFCARE continues to blend new art forms and inspirational elements, bringing art, fashion, sex appeal, life and energy to its brand culture.
#New Year's First Hat# SWOFCARE tradition. At the beginning of each year, the creative director leads the entire product design team to SWOFCARE factory to participate in the production of the new year's first hat. They personally experience the whole process of making a hat and technically exchange and discuss with hat-making technicians face-to-face. Thus they can make the product design and production process more harmonious. Only a more complete understanding of all the hat-making processes can have the opportunity to become a product expert, Jason CHANG said. Every year's work journey begins at SWOFCARE factory.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
From product design selection to product presentation, SWOFCARE goes through no less than 23 hat-making processes. Craftsmen with more than 15 years of experience in hat making are adhering to the craftsmanship and precise control of the product size and hat shape, only to ensure that every product is unique.
Eric, SWOFCARE lead designer, said: "inspiration is like a treasure chest. In addition to the design drawings, the exquisite accessories can meet the needs of SWOFCARE products. We combine design inspiration with wearable art uniquely."
In the r&d department of SWOFCARE, every designer is constantly learning and absorbing fabric knowledge, embroidery and craft, crystal and accessories, and aesthetic art of wearing and so on. In addition, the research and development team often travel to find new breakthroughs in the inheritance of ideas, complete the integration of complex selection elements, and make innovations happen in the stop-and-go process.
